Cody came to Corgi Connection of Kansas from a family that was no longer able to give him the time they felt he deserved. It's been a pretty tramautic change for Cody, who left the only family he's ever known.

Cody is in foster care with 2 other dogs and a cat. He and the female corgi of the house have had some difficulties, mostly in part due to insecurities with both dogs. However, they are learning to co-habitate with a watchful eye. He does well with the resident cat. If Cody is plaed in a home with another dog it should be a confident yet easy-going hound who will perhaps let Cody think he's in charge! :)

Cody is a wonderful little boy who has lots of kisses to give. Unfortunately, it seems Cody has kind of been allowed to do as he wishes, so obedience is not a strong feature with him. He would benefit greatly from some basic obedience lessons with his new owner; not only for learning but to bond as well. Cody seems to need quite a bit of reassuring, so it may take him some time to settle in to a new home but we are confident he will make someone a wonderful corgi!

In the mean time, Cody has been learning to go for walks on a leash and play in a wonderfully fenced back yard. While Cody has been around children,

we think it would be best if he only allowed to be around older children >7

Cody's adoption fee is $275. He is neutered; current on vaccinations; has been heartworm tested (neg); is on preventative; he's micro-chipped and just

had his teeth checked and cleaned. He is aaltvailable for immediate adoption.
