Capone now known as Cappy has completed his journey to his new home in California!

This beautiful boy is Capone - a Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a tail!

Capone has spent the past 5 weeks at a small Kansas shelter where no one came forward to claim him or adopt him.We don't get it. Capone should be named Casanova! He is such a flirt and a sweet dog. Capone is now with Corgi Connection of Kansas in foster care. He has had all his vaccinations and will be neutered soon, micro-chipped and after a few weeks in his foster home - ready for adoption!

Shelter staff believe Capone is about 2 years old. At the shelter he did fine with other dogs and doesn't seem to know a stranger. He is going to need work on basic manners and house-training however but we're sure he's just like all other corgis - smart.

Capone has been heartworm tested (neg) and appears to be a very healthy, happy boy. His adoption fee is $275 which will help pay for his veterinary care.
