Mando

Name: Mando

Age: Almost 3 DOB: 1-10-22

Pembroke welsh corgi with a tail and a little bit of attitude!

We're not real sure what kind of puppyhood Mando had but it appears he wasn't well socialized and was quite unsure of himself as well as the world around him. Well, that all seems to have changed since he has settled into his foster home. This boy is ALL Corgi - full of energy. His foster mom describes as a "sweet boy, just a little rowdy."

Mando does well on walks; goes into his crate; doesn't inhale his food, but it is suggested he be fed separately if in a house with another dog; loves to play fetch and is a real cuddler if he's been given plenty of opportunity to burn some energy. Mando has had a few changes in his relatively short life and it may take him just a little bit of time to adjust once again to a new living environment.

The ideal home for Mando? A home with another easy-going playful dog; no young children; a fenced yard; with people who love to go out and about with their pets; a home where he isn't crated all day long; with someone who has some good corgi experience. Mando is a pretty stout boy and doesn't always know his own size (34 lbs).  Mando has some pretty strong herding instincts so nipping at your heels should be expected, but it's not severe.

Mando is neutered and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300 and he is available now. He is being fostered in Topeka, KS. CCK does adopt out of state but we do NOT fly our dogs.
