WANTED: Adopter who is home more than not; willing to put up with a constant shadow and loves to have snuggles.

Monica, who is the part of the "Friends" sisters, Phoebe and Rachel is now ready for her furr-ever home. Like her sisters, she will be 1 on Nov. 15. All 3 girls came from a breeder in Oklahoma who had to get rid of the pups ASAP. Consequently, coming from a breeder, they spent the first months of their lives outside. Living in a home, being in a city, new sounds, new environments, different smells; it's all quite overwhelming for Monica, who takes refuge in her person. She is partial to women, we'll admit it.

Monica doesn't mind a short walk, but is perfectly content to hang out in a fenced backyard and bark at the squirrels. She can be a bit of a pesk when she wants to play with other dogs, but will get the message eventually and leave them alone with an arguement. She has done well with other dogs in her foster home and would probably be fine with a cat. Unfortunately we think the activity of children would be too overwhelming for Monica, so we are looking for a calmer family with a fenced yard. Monica does well in her crate and is learning some basic commands. We feel another young, easy-going dog would be a great companion for Monica. She still frightens easily with loud noises and doesn't always get herself outside to do her business. She will need reinforcement on house-training, especially in a new environment. She does know how to use a doggy door.

She is destined to make someone a wonderful pet who has the patience and love to give her. She will return it ten-fold.

Monica is spayed, current on vaccinations, has been on heartworm flea-tick preventative and is micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $300.
