Stuart

ADOPTED!

Wow! Is this boy handsome or what?

Stuart will be 5 years old in June and his previous owners decided he was getting too rough with their cats and they weren't giving him the care he needed. So no kitties in his next home. We also feel maybe Stuart would do best in a home WITHOUT young children. It's apparent he hasn't been real well socialized or exposed to a variety of situations. He has lived with other dogs but doesn't seem to really have a preference one way or another. He doesn't seem to know much about play - at least in his foster home. Stuart would do best with someone who has corgi experience. He really isn't the corgi for a first-time owner as he can be bossy and will try to get away with whatever he can.

This handsome boy definitely needs a fenced yard so he can take his sweet time to do his business. He doesn't like to be rushed. But that doesn't mean he won't enjoy going on regular walks.

Stuart is what is known as a fluff. Typically they do not shed like traditional corgis do but they do require more maintenance with their coat, keeping it tangle free and not allowing matting to develop. If you can't do this and think shaving would be easier DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER applying for him. Get a dog with a short-coat.

Stuart is current on vaccinations, he has been heart-worm tested (-) and is on preventative along with flea/tick preventative. He has been neutered and is microchipped. Stuart is being fostered in SE Kansas.

His adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in Stuart and can provide this gorgeous corgi the right home, submit your application through this link for consideration.
