Demi
Corgi Connection of Kansas was fortunate enough to be able to take in 4 female corgis from a breeder who was discontinuing breeding corgis. Demi is one of the 4 and is now ready to venture on to her furr-ever home.
This little chunk of love is an absolute doll. She can be a bit picky about who she shares her people with, so she might do best with a male dog in the house. Like the other corgis we got from the breeder, we were given NO information on them. Each of the veterinarians who looked at all the girls guessed them to be around 3 years of age. Demi came to us in pretty rough shape; she had some intestinal parasite and a rather large bladder stone which had been left untreated. Because of the history of the bladder stone, Demi will need to have her urine checked periodically and her person should be aware for any signs of urinary tract infections. At this point she does NOT need to be fed a special dietd and has been deemed healthy.
Demi is a cuddle-bug, loves to go on walks and uses a doggy door. She sleeps in her crate at night in the bedroom but does not like to be left alone in her crate. Her foster mom reports she does fine left out while they are away.
She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heart-worm and flea-tick prevention in addition to being micro-chipped. Demi's ideal home is with someone who is there more often than not; a quiet home, so no young children or rowdy teenagers and a FENCED YARD is also required.
