Auddie

Auddie came to us from Oklahoma with the help of another rescue when her owner no longer wanted her and said she was an outside dog. No records came with her but we believe she is about 3 years old. She is a Blue heeler-Corgi so the herding instinct is strong and so it she!

She is a sweet girl who is adapting to inside life well! She’s super playful, but only wants to play if you play with her. It doesn’t matter if you play with a tug or a ball, all she wants is a person to play with! Auddie makes her happiness known, because when she’s excited her little nub of a tail goes a mile a minute! This love bug will curl up in your lap just to get all the pets. She does not hesitate to bark if she hears a person or an animal outside - you’ll never be caught off guard! She’s not a super huge fan of noises, but doesn’t mind a car ride. She has done very well with house-training; enjoys going for walks but does have a prettyAuddie c unlimited amount of energy.  Because she is not a purebred corgi, she is a little taller, more stalky and heavier - weighs about 30 pounds.

Auddie is doing fine with her foster brother but if either want the same toy, she WILL not back down. She can also be quite nippy when playing with a toy. For that reason we don't recommend she go to a home with children younger than 14. It's not an aggressive thing, it's just a herding thing!

Potential adopters must be prepared for an energetic dog that will not be content for just a daily walk and around of fetch. She's going to need stimulation, additional training; someone who really wants a companion and not just a pet.

We were told Auddie was spayed but not confident with the information we were given, we opted for exploratory surgery and she had not been spayed. That has been done now along with all the appropriate vaccinations, heart-worm test and micro-chipping. She is now ready to shine in a new home of her own. Auddie is located in SE Kansas. We adopt out of state but do not fly our dogs. Her adoption fee is $300.
