Bear

This hunka-hunka burning love is Bear! He arrived at Corgi Connection of Kansas weighing more than 45 pounds! That's a whole lotta weight for such a short guy. His coat was in horrible condition and he needed a dental. Well, he's been on a diet, he's been groomed and got his teeth all nice and purdy. He also had several "warts" removed so he looks a little like he had a bad experience at the barber shop but that will grow soon.Leavenworth Bear

Bear from Leavenworth2Bear turned 8 years old on May 14. With continued weight loss and great care, he should have a whole lotta life and love to give. Bear needs a person committed to his weight loss journey and ideally someone who is around more than not. In Bear's foster home he has learned to "respect" the cat and does well with his foster sister, Minnie. As he adjusts to a new home, he may need some reinforcement with house-training and a solid routine will help with that.

Bear is neutered, current on vaccinations; has been on heartworm and flea-tick prevention and is micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $300 which will help with his veterinary care he's received.
