Owen

Owen IIIADOPTED!!!!!

Owen and his brother from another mother, Kirby, came to us from an owner who couldn't give them the care she felt they needed living in an apartment. Kirby will be 1 year old April 27 and has beautiful markings. He is a very sweet boy who lacks a lot of confidence. Currently he is being fostered with Kirby and 3 otherOwen II corgis. While he gets along well with everyone, he does not interact with them much. We will Kirby a couple of weeks to settle in and see if he shows some true corgi-ness. At the moment we feel it would be best for Owen to be adopted with Kirby or at the very least to a home with a dog similiar in size and age that can show him some confidence and how to be more like a loved dog. We do not know how he would do with house-cats.

In the meantime, he has been neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations and has been micro-chipped. He is pretty well house-trained, but does occasionally try to  mark. He does do well in a crate. He enjoys going for walks; hasn't shown much interest in toys and would much rather be inside than outside; at least right now. His  adoption fee will be $300. CCK does not typically adopt to homes with very young children, toddlers or infants.
