Sake
Sake was surrendered to Corgi Connection when his humans had a change in their living situation.
He is a wonderful senior boy who just wants to hang out with a friend. Sake or sometimes Sox, is a bit of an anxious boy and does a lot of panting and licking. He has not shown any signs of being destructive when left alone however.
He is a bit on the heavy side and we are trying to get him trimmed down. His mobility is not the best so he can only do short walks but does occasionally taking off for a short run. He is on pain meds for what appears to be arthritis and we have seen some improvement. He would not do well in a house with a lot of stairs. He can go up and down about 4 or 5.
He does have some incontinent issues and "leaks" when he lays down. Therefore he wears a belly band when he is inside and he is kept in a pen at night.
He loves his toys and is very vocal when he has "discussions" with a ball or squeaky toy.
He has done very well with other dogs (corgis) but we do not know about cats.
Sake is current on vaccinations; had his teeth cleaned and had 6 teeth extracted; he is heart-worm negative and is micro-chipped. His adopt fee is $200. If you are interested in Sake, go to www.corgiconnection.com to submit an application.
