Jack

Hello! My name is Jack and I turned 8 years old in January.
Jack Duel3

My dad got me when I was pretty young and we were great buds, then he got married and we were still great buds. Another corgi came along and while I wasn't thrilled about sharing the attention, me and the other corgi got along for the most part. But when that little human came along and started scooting, crawling and moving about the place, I just couldn't adjust. You never know what that little guy was gonna do or when he was going to scream. It made me so nervous I was spending a lot of time under the bed and trying to avoid everything.

My dad thought I'd be happier and he made a very hard decision to contact Corgi Connection to see if they could find me just the right home. I'm in what's called a foster home right now and the lady who is fostering me is really nice. She has a corgi of her own who is also from Corgi Connection. Me and Cody don't pay much attention to each other. I prefer to have all the attention myself and really only like to play with toys by myself. I LOVE attention!

I'm house-trained, do well on a leash (will tug some but what corgi doesn't? Give a guy a break). I'm current on vaccinations, neutered and have been on that stuff that keeps aways fleas, tick and oh yea - that heart-worm preventative stuff. I eat Science Diet (the bag with the corgi on it - of course) twice a day. I could probably stand to lose a pound or 2 but my foster mom really likes to walk so I think I'm getting more fit. A year or so ago, I tore my ACL and the "dog-tor" fixed it. I get along really well but probably wouldn't do too well in a house with a lot of stairs or with someone who plans to go hiking. I'm a pretty happy boy but I am very scared of thunder storms and will seek shelter.

So if you're interested in giving a fella like me a nice comfortable home where I don't have to worry about any babies or young children and can have you all to myself, fill out an application and I'll take a looksy!
