Ruthie
Corgi Connection of Kansas was fortunate enough to be able to take in 4 female corgis from a breeder who was discontinuing breeding corgis. Ruthie is one of the 4 and is now ready to venture on to her furr-ever home.
Ruthie can be timid but she is quickly learning how to be a corgi. A new pup in her foster home has brought out the play in this courageous little girl. Ruthie has adapted well to her new environment and would be very happy if she could just lay in someone's lap with an occasional round of play with another friendly, playful pup. She is house-trained for the most part but does have 1 rather unusual habit that has yet to be broke. She will urinate in the place where other dog's bowls are set at feeding time AFTER the bowls are picked up. As with any change in environment there can be accidents so her new owners need to be very patient and consistent. She does not like to be left alone in her kennel but will sleep through the night if she's in the same room.
Ruthie is guesstimated to be around 3 years old. We were not given ANY information on these corgis by the breeder. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea-tick prevention. She is also micro-chipped. A FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED TO ADOPT RUTHIE. Her adoption fee is $300.
