Rosie III
ADOPTION PENDING !!!!
This information is just coming in from Corgi Connection of Kansas correspondent Benny Corgipants .
Benny reports there is a sweetheart of a corgi ( or is that a corgi he ' s sweet on ?) looking for a new home through Corgi Connection of Kansas .& nbsp ;
Her name is Rosie and she has the cutest red hair ( Sound familiar ?)
Rosie is a worldly young corgi as she has already traveled several states . Her ventures began in Indiana where she was living in some not - so - nice conditions . Her owners listed her on an ad and a very nice family took her . The family said they just wanted to get her out of the place she was living , but couldn ' t keep her .
They said Rosie had worms , but I don ' t know why because Rosie doesn ' t fish . Anyway , this family was very nice to Rosie and got her some shots to get rid of those worms . Guess they didn ' t want to go fishing either .
After the worms left the family thought Rosie was going to have puppies . Since they didn ' t plan to keep her anyway they put her on a website to find her another new home .
Corgi Connection of Kansas saw the listing and lo and behold , they just happen to have a really great volunteer in Indianapolis - Julie . I know Julie , she has sent me some really cool stuff , sends me emails , just loves my cute butt and ... oh yea ... back to Rosie .
Well anyway , Julie agreed to get Rosie from the family and foster her until CCK could get her all the way to Kansas . But Rosie had a different idea . Not so long after Julie got Rosie from the nice family , Rosie had 2 puppies ! A boy and a girl .
Julie is a pretty busy gal working and helping with other rescues and the puppies needed some extra help along with their mom . So Julie drove ALL THE WAY from Indianapolis to Kansas just so Rosie and those babies could go to a new foster home .
CCK foster moms , Patty and Lynn , took Rosie and the pups in their home like they belonged there . Just like Mommapants did with me .
Rosie has been a VERY good mom to those puppies but now it ' s time for her to find her own home because the puppies will soon be getting their own furr - ever homes .
Rosie is house - trained , is very friendly and loves to cuddle ( Te - he - hee ). So if you would like to give Rosie a home of her own , you can fill out an application for Rosie through the CCK website : www . corgiconnection . com
Now here ' s some technical and other information on Rosie that I don ' t know about .
Thank you Benny . That was a wonderful report . Rosie is about 3 years old and is very petite . She has been fully vaccinated ; heartworm tested , put on preventative and will be micro - chipped . She will be spayed shortly after the puppies are weaned this week . Once she ' s made a full recovery from her spay , she will be ready for her adoption ; probably in about 2 weeks ( towards the end of June ).
CCK does adopt out of state but will not fly the dog unless with passenger . As Benny Corgipants said , if you ' re interested in this little redhead please submit an application through the website .
This has been a CCK report via The Daily Corgi network .
