Savannah

7-16-13: Savannah is a beautiful young girl but is going to require a very special home. She is healthy but she is very skittish. Given her background of coming from a puppy mill, Savannah frightens easiy and is wary of people. Once she is comfortable with a person, she loves to cuddle. She loves to play with her corgi foster brother, Haas and toys in general.
She does well in her crate overnight but is not house-trained yet when she is allowed to be free in the home.
Corgi Connection actually bought Savannah at a dog auction where breeders sell their "stock" they no longer want or from going out of business. We were only able to get 3 of the 9 corgis that were up bid at this particular auction. The bidding went high. Luckily we secured Savannah who was destine to a life of having litter after litter of puppies.
Ideally, we would like Savannah to go to a home where there is another dog that enjoys playing. She is going to need a very patient and understanding family who will give her the time, space guidance to become a typical female corgi!
Savannah turned 1 in March. She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms and is micro-chipped. Her adoption fee will be $275.
