Honey

Honey has a pending adoption! We are very excited for her furture! Thank you everyone for your concern and interest in her.

1-15-16: Honey has had an unfortunate setback with the discovery of bladder stones. Surgery is set for Jan. 18. It will take her some time to recover and up to 3 weeks to get results back on the stone(s). In the mean time she is slowly coming out of her shell in her foster home.

1-4-16: This beautiful girl is Honey. She was given up by someone who had 14 dogs in their home. She came in to Corgi Connection of Kansas rescue in horrible shape. Her skin was raw; her toenails were so long they were starting to curl and she smelled horrible as you can imagine. A bad case of neglect indeed.

Honey's skin issues were diagnosed as flea allergy and she is now on medication and undergoing regular medicated baths. Her foster mom reports she can tell she is already feeling better. Because of the condition of her skin, Honey has not yet received the proper vaccinations and her teeth need to be cleaned. It will take a few weeks to get her looking and feeling in tip top shape. In the mean time she is living and getting along with 4 other corgis.

Honey is spayed, will be brought up to date on vaccinations; is heart-worm negative, will have her teeth cleaned and checked and will be micro-chipped before being adopted. Her adoption fee will be $275.
