Lizzie (2)

Update 1-4-16: Lizzie is progressing slowly in her new life and will need someone who is patient as she learns to be a pet. She gave us quite a scare just before Christmas when she managed to squeeze through a small hole in her foster home's yard. True to nature for a dog from a puppy mill she burrowed in somewhere and wasn't found for 2 days. Thanks goodness for her collar and micro-chip.

She needs someone who is patient and willing to give her time to learn to big new world she has now entered.

Lizzie is a 7 year old retired breeding girl from a mill! Typical of most breeding dogs, she is scared, timid and very uncertain of anything new and unfamilar. Lizzie made great strides in her first 2 weeks in foster care so her future looks bright. Lizzie has been spayed, vaccinated, her teeth cleaned and also had a lump removed. The lump was tested and came back cancerous but her prognosis is good as the veterinarian believes it was all removed.

She is now in a long-term foster home learning to be a little princess! Her adoption fee is $275. We will have more information on Lizzie as we get to know her.
