Jasmine

ADOPTED!!!!!

This beauty was found as a stray in Western Kansas by a rescuer of larger dogs. No owner was ever located so CCK has the privilege of finding her a furr-home; one where she will not get away and left to be on her own.june 2015 jazzie

It's difficult to pinpoint Jazzy's age but the veterinarians are placing her around 5 years old. By all accounts, she is a pretty typical corgi but does seem to want to go about visiting. She will need a very secure yard and it may be best that her new family have some previous corgi experience.

Jazzy has been in a foster home with 3 other dogs and is doing wonderfully well. Her bestest buddy is a 1 year old Standard Poodle that is blind. They can play non-stop. She can play hard and rest hard. She is an absolute doll and itty-bitty, weighing in at a whopping 16 pounds.

Jazzy's biggest issue is house-training. She is coming along but is still not reliably trained. She needs work with someone who is patient and she needs routine which will help her understand when she should go. She is crate-trained but of course we don't want her to spend any more time than absolutely necessary in a crate so preference will be given to applicants who are either home more often or can come home at least once during the work day to give her a break. She would also do well if there were another dog in the house. We do not know how she does with cats.

Jazzy has been spayed, brought up to date on vaccinations; is heart-worm negative (Yay) and has been micro-chipped. She has also had her teeth checked and 7 teeth were removed. Her adoption fee is $275 which will help pay for some of those services. Interested persons can apply through the link at the bottom of the "Adoption" page.
