Rudy

Meet CCK's latest rescue, Rudy.
We were informed that Rudy was brought into the shelter by his original owner because she had cancer and could not care for him. He was adopted about a week later to a family with other dogs, but he stressed the other dogs out too much because he wanted to play ALL THE TIME. The family returned him 4 days later to the shelter. The unfortunate part is he was said to be older than we think he actually is, so it's understandable that he wanted to play a lot and didn't have many manners (puppies).

The verdict is in.... Rudy has a little deformity in his legs (as some people noticed in his original picture). One bone grows longer than the other leg bone. There is a risky surgery but it's not something being pursued at this time. He can live a very happy productive life with weight management and occasionally some pain meds (when needed). He is also NOT 18 mo as rescue was advised... He's more likely around 12 mo.

Even with this issue, Rudy is one VERY active little dog. He needs an owner who is willing to further his training (house-training still in the works) and give him plenty of play time, love and patience. This little boy has already been bounced through 2 homes. CCK is going to make sure his next home is his last!

Rudy is neutered, current on vaccinations, has been heartworm tested (negative), is on preventative and is micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $275.
